Paul Hart Miller
Paul Hart Miller is the Director of Client Services for Astron Solutions. His areas of expertise are employee relations, compensation, recruitment and retention, as well as human resources management, project management, risk management, and not for profit administration. His driving passion is helping people develop solutions to their problems.
His twenty years in corporate management have included many varied experiences. He worked for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, where he was National Director, Volunteer Development; Right Management Consultants, where he was Vice President, Client Services; Methodist Hospital, New Orleans, where he was Director, Human Resources; Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where he was Regional Director, Network Development and Management; Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, where he was Manager of Network Development; and Humana Hospitals, where he was Director of Professional Relations for hospitals in Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, and West Virginia.
Paul is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and was State Legislative Director in Louisiana. He has been active in the American Society of Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA) and received the ASHHRA Chapter President’s Award for Outstanding Leadership in 2003. He is a member of the American Management Association and is currently the secretary for the New York Association for Volunteer Administration (NYAVA).
Paul has had numerous leadership roles in healthcare organizations. Paul was formerly an active member of the Southeast Louisiana Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) serving as Program and Membership Committee Chair. He was active with Community Health Charities as Louisiana Chapter Board Secretary. He was recognized by the American Heart Association as their first National Advocate of the Year in 2004.
He is a graduate of McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He also completed the Harvard University Law School Program on Negotiation for Senior Executives.
